The Challenge
As a leading name in the commercial removals space and a specialist in office relocation services, Doree Bonner were receiving an increasing amount of requests from clients with specific IT relocation requirements.
While experienced in the removals field, due to the increasing complexity of user set-ups used within the business landscape, there became a growing requirement for specialist expertise when it came to handling customer technology.
Our Solution
Doree Bonner turned to Techary, who proposed a new working partnership between the two businesses which would involve Techary both overseeing and managing the technology aspect of all office moves or IT-specific relocation projects. This involvement would cover everything from initial client discovery call, through to planning, logistics and finally sign off.
This meant that Techary would ultimately be responsible for the safe decommissioning and recommissioning or migration of all IT equipment utilising specialist equipment for everything including end-user equipment (sometimes including complex set-ups) to servers.
Techary could also offer advice to clients looking to upgrade their technology in conjunction with the office move or new office space. Similarly, they would be able to offer specialist services for the disposal/recycling of equipment and also offer buyback schemes where required.
The Result
Techary is now Doree Bonner’s number one partner for ongoing technology requests, equipping them to take on more client projects that involve any IT requirement.
This has helped them to expand their offering into new markets and has also helped to increase business through a new IT Relocation arm.
During COVID, Techary worked successfully to relocate hundreds of Doree Bonner customers’ business equipment to set them up for remote working during the pandemic, and continues to work with customers post-covid to support hybrid working and full returns to the office.
We reached out to Techary knowing their wealth of knowledge and experience in the IT field would enable us to deliver on our changing customer requirements, which were becoming more complex.
